Our Identities

We are Worshippers. The first step of involvement at Belmar Baptist Church is attendance during our worship services. We meet Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. for prayer.

We are Family. As Christians we understand that we have been adopted into a new family. Other followers of Jesus are not enemies or competitors, but brothers and sisters. As family, we strive to care for each other, bear each others burdens, pray for each other, and serve each other. One of the ways we nurture our relationship as a family is through our monthly family dinners, usually the second Sunday of every month after the morning service. See our calendar for more details.

We are Disciples. We believe that following Jesus in discipleship is not optional for the Christian. Following Jesus in obedience to His Word is part of what it means to be a Christian. Stay tuned for more details on how we aim to pursue discipleship together.

We are Servants. As Christians, serving is not something we do, but part of who we are. A key part of your involvement at Belmar Baptist is your willingness to serve. If you’re interested in serving, but not sure where or how, let us know here.

We are Missionaries. Jesus called us to go into all the world and bring the Good News to all people. We obey this calling by showing and sharing the love of Jesus. Here are a few of the ministries we’re involved in to show and share the love of Jesus in our city and beyond:
